Xentek heads to Spa !
Xentek drivers Ash Marshall, Matt Rainbow, Tom Sibley and new entry James Robinson headed to the world famous Circuit Spa-Francorchamps for round 5.
With both the GT5 and G40 Cup grids combined for this impressive 60+ car grid, it was guaranteed to be high in incidents. After a difficult qualifying, race one saw all three of the Xentek GT5 drivers making up places and staying out of trouble. Tom Sibley in the G40 Cup, caught out with yellow flags, dropped from 3rd back to 5th.
Race 2 was also effected by the presence of the safety car. Our latest entry James Robinson made up multiple places but was knocked off track from P3 in what was deemed a 'racing incident'. Further back Ash Marshall was caught up in someone else's incident which saw him retire for the first time this season. Matt Rainbow continued to show his pace from earlier in the week to finish P12. Tom Sibley finished his weekend with another 5th place finish.
The team now resets for the next rounds at Brands Hatch for G40 Cup and Knockhill for GT5.
