Xentek Motorsport have bolstered their entry for the Ginetta GT Championship with the welcome return of former race-winner Conner Garlick, starting next weekend at Oulton Park (24-26 May).

Garlick is no stranger to the GT Championship grid, having clocked up over 40 race starts in the series with Xentek over the last two years. He’s been a consistent front-runner throughout, scoring a race win each season and collecting 12 podium finishes in total.

The return to action for 2025 continues a long-standing relationship between Garlick and the South Yorkshire team. Since his Ginetta debut back in 2018, he’s enjoyed spells in the GT5 Challenge and GT4 SuperCup with Xentek prior to the GT Championship.

The 22-year-old talent does face a steep learning curve at Oulton Park though. He’ll be getting to grips with the new V8-powered Ginetta G56 GTP8 introduced this year, as well as a new race format featuring a 20-minute sprint and 40-minute endurance run with a mandatory pitstop.

Christopher Richards – Xentek Motorsport Team Principal: “We’re really pleased to be going racing with Conner for a sixth consecutive season. We’ve enjoyed a great partnership with him and his family over the years, and it’s exciting to see him enter the new era for the Ginetta GT Championship.

“While Conner will be on the back foot compared to the rest of the grid with less track time in the new G56 GTP8, we’re confident his previous Ginetta experience will serve him well and he’s capable of being right in the mix at the front of the grid at Oulton Park.”

Conner Garlick: “I am delighted to be teaming up with Xentek Motorsport again to return to the GT Championship. I’ve enjoyed some great moments in the series over the last couple of years and I’m hoping we can be a competitive force again next weekend at Oulton Park.”

Featuring as part of the British GT Championship’s traditional bank holiday event at Oulton Park in Cheshire, the Ginetta GT Championship will tackle qualifying and the sprint race next Saturday (24 May), before the endurance race on the Monday (26 May). Both races will be streamed live on Ginetta’s YouTube channel.
