Xentek Motorsport Increase Ginetta Presence For Season Finale

Xentek Motorsport will enter three cars in the headline GT Pro class of the Ginetta GT Championship for the first time as part of a seven-car fleet for the season finale at Donington Park next weekend (21/22 October).

It’s set to be a nail-biting final weekend for the Xentek Motorsport squad, with their talented driving duo of Luke Garlick and Ella Lloyd ready to battle it to become the team’s record-extending fifth drivers’ champion in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge.

Alongside the tension and excitement of a title decider, the South Yorkshire team are determined to end their season on a high across the board as they compete in the GT Championship, GT5 Challenge and GT Academy.

Partnering race-winner Conner Garlick and the ever-improving Bal Sidhu in the team's third G56 GT Pro car will be a new addition, Blake Angliss. He comes in with a strong pedigree in the championship, having superbly recorded nine podium finishes from nine races during two appearances so far this season.

The Coventry-based racer, who was a title contender in the G55 class of the GT4 SuperCup last year, sensationally won four races during the ‘G Fest’ event at Silverstone back in June. He added two more podium finishes that weekend and another treble the following event at Snetterton.

Christopher Richards – Team Principal: “We’re delighted to be expanding our entry to three G56 GT Pro’s for the final weekend. Blake’s podium record across his two outings this season is hugely impressive, so we’re certainly hoping to score some more silverware with him next weekend.”

The bumper season finale weekend at Donington Park will see Xentek Motorsport contest a pair of qualifying sessions and no less than six races, all of which will be streamed live online at www.youtube.com/ginettatv.
