Xentek Motorsport will welcome back Sam Harvey to their Porsche Sprint Challenge GB line-up this year, with the young talent fully focused on mounting a title challenge following his exceptional 2025 campaign.

The South Yorkshire team and Harvey will be continuing their long-standing and successful partnership this year. They are set to enter their fifth consecutive season of competition together, with a spell in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge prior to the move to Porsche competition.

After finishing as the Clubsport Pro class vice-champion in his debut Porsche season, the 21-year-old from Sutton Coldfield stepped up to the headline RS Pro category last year and made his mark at the front of the field in his Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS.

Harvey produced a dominant display at Silverstone to record his first two overall victories in the championship; alongside further podium finishes at Oulton Park and Knockhill. Those achievements were recognised post-season as he reached the final four of the hotly-contested Porsche GB Junior scholarship.

Christopher Richards – Team Principal: “We’re delighted to be racing again with Sam this year and we’re confident this can be our most successful season together to date. 2025 proved just how much talent and potential he possesses, he produced some exceptional performances, and he has all the attributes needed to win the title this year.”

Sam Harvey: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to race in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB with Xentek Motorsport again this year. Thank you to Chris, Sarah and all of my sponsors for making it happen. Coming off a race-winning season last year and being a Porsche GB scholarship finalist has really given me a confidence boost and we’re determined to be fighting at the front right from the off.”

Launched in 2020, the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB is one of the top one-make GT championships in the UK. The series utilises two-generations of Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 machinery, Clubsport and RS, with a bumper grid including classes for both Professional and Amateur drivers.

The 2026 Sprint Challenge GB season will be contested over 18 races across six events, all of which will take place on the support package of the British Touring Car Championship. The season gets underway at Donington Park over the weekend of 18/19 April.
