Xentek Motorsport are celebrating their first championship victory in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB, with Hannah Chapman securing the CS AM class title after another brilliant performance in the final round of the season at Brands Hatch this past weekend (04-05 October).

The South Yorkshire team have enjoyed a breakthrough season in the one-make Porsche championship this year. Alongside their maiden title victory with Chapman, they also secured their first-ever overall Porsche victories in the penultimate round at Silverstone with Sam Harvey.

Championship glory was a fitting reward for a sensational first Porsche campaign for Chapman. The talented racer was the class of the CS AM field from the off, with a remarkable display of speed and consistency seeing her accumulate 13 wins and 17 podium finishes across the 18-race campaign.

The championship success means Chapman has written her name into the history books as only the second female driver ever to win a title in a one-make Porsche GB championship, and only the third female to enjoy title glory on the prestigious British Touring Car Championship race package.

Fellow Mairon Motorsport Management backed driver Harvey also enjoyed a standout season, his second in the series. Quickly establishing himself at the front of the grid overall, his memorable double victory at Silverstone was backed up by further podium finishes at Oulton Park and Knockhill.

The final three races of the season took place on the world-famous Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. Persistent rainfall led to challenging wet conditions for official practice on Friday, however the weather fortunately improved overnight to ensure a weekend of dry racing.

Chapman came into the event knowing that she needed just three solid finishes to be crowned the champion. She was determined to seal the title in style though and enjoyed a thrilling opening race, charging down an eight second deficit before snatching victory in a last gasp drag race to the line.

After securing a hard-fought second place finish in race two, she concluded her campaign with an exceptional performance in race three. Asserting a level of dominance she has shown on numerous occasions this season, she stormed clear to victory by a 20-second margin.

Harvey meanwhile had a more challenging finale weekend that he’d hoped for. Fighting his way to a top six RS PRO class finish in the opening encounter, the Ginetta graduate came home seventh in class in Sunday’s two races to confirm a fantastic fourth-place finish in the final points standings.

Sarah-Jayne McKenna – Xentek Motorsport Team Manager: “We are absolutely delighted to take our first championship title in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB. We’ve made great progress over our three years in the series and this has been a really standout season, with the title and our first overall race wins.

“Hannah has been an absolute revelation in her first Porsche season. She immediately felt at home in the Cayman and a triple win on the opening weekend set the tone for the year. Her performances have been incredible and we’re over the moon for her that she got the title she deserved.

“It wasn’t the final weekend that we wanted for Sam, but it takes nothing away from a brilliant season for him. His progression behind the wheel of the RS has been great and in the last few rounds he has got the wins and podiums that he deserves for his talent.

“A huge thank you to everyone in the team for all their efforts across the season, putting fast and reliable cars on track every weekend. We feel like we’ve established ourselves as a top team in the Porsche paddock now and intend to be back fighting for wins and titles again in 2026.”
