Xentek Motorsport enjoyed a fantastic start to their 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge GB season, with Hannah Chapman guiding them to a dream hat-trick of class victories during the opening weekend at Donington Park (26/27 April).

The South Yorkshire team kicked off their third season in the leading one-make championship with Mairon Motorsport Management backed drivers Sam Harvey and Hannah Chapman, who lined up in the RS Pro and CS Am classes respectively for the opening three races of the season.

Chapman is a new recruit to the team as she makes her debut in Porsche competition. After qualifying second in class behind the wheel of her Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, the former tin-top racer proved to be an unstoppable force across the three races in Leicestershire.

The Millers Oils brand ambassador charged into the class lead on the opening lap in the first two races and stayed in front throughout, before converting pole position to victory in race three. Setting the fastest lap in each outing too ensured she left the opening weekend with a perfect points haul.

Harvey challenged for the ‘CS Pro’ class title last year and has now stepped up to the latest-generation RS car for the 2025 season. Competing against the leading talents on the grid, he got off to a brilliant start in qualifying as he posted the fifth fastest time overall.

A superb opening race saw him right in the fight for the overall podium as he came home fifth overall on his RS debut. After finishing eighth in class in a tougher race two, he bounced back well with a top six result in the finale.

Sarah-Jayne McKenna – Xentek Motorsport Team Manager: “What a start to the Porsche season! Hannah put in a phenomenal performance on her debut weekend. She was untouchable in the races and she’s really laid down a marker for what we hope will be a fantastic season together.

“Sam deserves this step up to the RS class and showed this weekend he’s ready to challenge right at the front of the field. He’s comfortably got top six pace at this stage and as he develops with the RS, we’re confident a breakthrough podium will come his way soon.”

The second round of the 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge GB will take place at Brands Hatch in Kent, with three races around the short, fast Indy circuit over the weekend of 10/11 May.
